EXPERIENCE IYM2C
Working Towards a Brighter Future
At IYM2C, a 501(c)(3), introducing our young minds to the world of coding is at the forefront of what we’re working together towards. Our programs and activities are designed to be a catalyst that helps community members reach their goals, fulfill their potential, and give back to the community through the knowledge they gain. Learn more about the positive impact we have and join us in bringing about positive change.

ABOUT
Background
Our team consists of several high school/college student volunteers around the country with a common passion for computer science. This past summer, IYM2C conducted two sessions of 3 week-long programs where 16 high school/college students taught Python, Java, HTML/CSS/JavaScript to 300+ young minds from the ages of 8 to the age of 16. At the conclusion of our program, we held a survey, and 82% of our participants wanted to continue computer science in the future. Below are statistics and quotes from former students and our experiences with the summer programs. “As a parent, I saw my kid wanting to finish all her assignments for her coding classes on time, with full energy. It was a very nice way to introduce her to Computer Science and I am glad that this camp was run so well and professionally, especially by high-schoolers. Thank you for giving kids such a great opportunity to learn!”
