SRUTI KARTHIKEYAN
President/Founder
Sruti Karthikeyan is a senior at American High School. People find her to be an upbeat, self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills. Her journey to find her passion for CS started when she self-studied numerous courses, certified by Microsoft, Harvard, and the University of Michigan. She believes that knowledge is power, and through IYM2C, she is committed to sharing it with the rest of her community, hoping to inspire and empower young minds in the world of programming!
SWATHI KARTHIKEYAN
Vice President
Swathi Karthikeyan is an incoming freshman with a huge interest in technology. She loves coding and helping others find their passion in STEM-related activities. She has completed various coding certifications through Microsoft, CodeHS, and edX courses, empowering herself in multiple coding languages, including Java, Python, HTML, and CSS. During her free time, she enjoys dancing and does taekwondo, which has helped her build confidence and discipline. She can't wait to empower the young minds and hopes to inspire them the way she was!
SHARANYA VIJAYAN
Secretary
Sharanya Vijayan is currently a senior at American High School. She was raised in Redwood City and Fremont, CA. She joined IYM2C to promote STEM and CS education among youth, and she is currently Secretary of this organization. She has been part of IYM2C since its founding. She enjoys singing Indian classical carnatic music, playing piano, and teaching swimming. She is passionate about designing for social impact and will soon be pursuing a career in Industrial Design.
DANTON CHIU
Treasurer
Danton Chiu is a senior at American High School. He loves swimming, eating good food, and hiking in his spare time. He is aspiring to become an aerospace engineer. He is an executive at his school computer science club. Danton has been focusing on Python and its applications as well as other languages like Java. Realizing the importance of STEM, he joined IYM2C as a treasurer in hopes of inspiring the next generation to pursue computer science.
SAHAR WASEEM
Website Manager/Data Analyst
Sahar Waseem is a 17 year old CS undergrad. She has a huge passion for mathematics and physics as well. She plans to specialize in Data Science Applications and then switch to Nanotechnology or Quantum Computing. Sahar successfully taught Python and Web Development for two sessions of the coding camp this past summer. She believes that coding and learning about CS are essential considering our digitized future and hence should be available to everyone regardless of their background and hence she wants to be a part of IYM2C. She hopes to teach and spread the wonderful intricacies of CS through IYM2C.
ADITYA KUMAR
Website Manager/Outreach Officer
Aditya Kumar is 17 years old and a senior at American High School. He is planning on majoring in computer science and will pursue a career in artificial intelligence. He has taken classes and joined clubs to learn more about programming languages such as Java and Python. Aditya is excited to work with IYM2C because he is interested in programming and loves to teach, and IYM2C combines these two interests.
KATIE DE LA PAZ
Website Manager
Katie De la Paz is currently a sophomore at Clayton High School in St. Louis, MO. She enjoys playing volleyball, piano, and violin in her free time. She has experience with HTML/CSS, Javascript, and Swift. Katie plans on pursuing a STEM related major, and she joined IYM2C over the summer to help and support kids on their journey of exploring CS. Katie is excited to see how IYM2C will grow and influence the future generation in positive ways!

SAANVIKHA SARAVANAN
Website Manager
Saanvikha Saravanan is currently a senior at Lambert High School in Suwanee, GA. She enjoys running, singing, cooking, or baking in her free time. She has experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and is teaching herself more coding languages at the moment. Saanvikha is interested in pursuing a career in the STEM field with a focus in Computer Science. The past summer she had the opportunity to work with IYM2C's summer coding camp and is looking forward to inspiring more kids to pursue computer science through the organization.
URI BHUVANIA
Writer
Urvi Bhuwania is currently a sophomore at American High School. In her free time, she is part of a competitive dance team, and enjoys playing basketball. She is planning on getting a degree in CS, bioengineering, or medicine. She is part of many STEM related clubs, and has taken a lot of programming related courses. She has experience in java, python, and c++, along with some experience in ios app development and AWS. She has a lot of passion towards STEM, and hopes that through IYM2C, she can use her knowledge to inspire others into STEM fields.
VASANTH PUGALENTHI
PR Manager
Vasanth Pugalenthi is a junior at California High School. In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with friends, playing video games, and playing tennis. In the future, he hopes to major in Computer Science and looks forwards to developing influential projects. Vasanth joined IYM2C in order to help promote programming and STEM to the youth and is currently the PR Manager. He is very excited to watch it expand and influence more people!
